A note on this translation
This is an English translation of the Dutch cookie statement, provided for convenience. The Dutch version is the authoritative text; if the two differ, the Dutch version prevails.
1. What do we mean by cookies?
The Dutch rules do not only apply to classic cookie files. Other techniques that store information on a device or read information from it can fall under the same rules. An exemption from prior consent may apply to strictly necessary techniques and to certain privacy-friendly analytical techniques.
2. What does this website use right now?

3. Why don't you see a cookie banner?
On this version of the website no advertising, retargeting or social media trackers are placed for which AvdB would need to ask permission in advance. That is why no general "accept/decline" banner is shown. A banner where there is no consent obligation would only be unnecessary.
As soon as AvdB adds, for example, an advertising pixel, non-essential tracking, non-privacy-friendly analytics or any other technique requiring prior consent, that technique will be blocked until consent is given and this statement will be updated.
4. External fonts
The current files no longer load Google Fonts from Google. The website uses local system fonts, so a visitor does not need to make an extra connection to Google for the typography.
5. Browser settings and future changes
You can also delete or block cookies and site data through your browser. Bear in mind that strictly necessary functions may then work less well, and that the language preference above will be forgotten. If the use of cookies changes, this page will be updated and consent will be requested in advance where needed.
